Author's description

Version 1.12 - by Votom - Please enjoy! The Rocinante ("Roci") is a former Martian Congressional Republic Navy (MCRN) Corvette-class light frigate (formerly the "Tachi")--but now capable of deep space exploration. Inspired directly from the TV show, "The Expanse" based on the book series by the same name written by James S. A. Corey. Instructions are simple: - Fly like a fighter jet (nose forward, using HUD) - Land like a Falcon 9 SpaceX Rocket (vertical, using thrusters and propulsion) - Use only cameras to pilot (easier than it sounds) Tips: - Power consumption to solar wind, deep space, and telescopic camera is separated with a stick switch on the Observation Deck (Level 8) (they drain power when not in use) - Power sources on flight deck are separated with a stick switch on the Command Bridge (Level 6) (prevents smaller batteries from being drained by engines) Specs: --CABIN SPACE (Levels)-- 8 - Observation Deck (the Rocinante did not have windows, but I had to use glass to finish the ship) 7 - Flight Deck 6 - Command Bridge (sealed with 1x small gate) 5 - Upper Airlock & Storage (1x medium gate) 4 - Med Bay, Galley, Crew Quarters (just a whiteboard space for team planning) 3 - Engineering 2 - Cargo Hold (1x large gate) 1 - Reactor Room --POWER-- 298,000P Battery (with 1x Medium Electric Thruster + 4x Small Electric Thrusters) 8,000 units Blue Gas (with 4x Small Fuel Thrusters) 9.42M Total Force (Thrust) 8x Solar Panels --FLIGHT & INSTRUMENTS-- 8x RCS+Maneuver Thrusters (compliment each other to increase flight response) No auto-pilot/auto-landing functions (trust your skills) Nearly all tech/scanners (up to Baobara missions)

How to install this ship

  1. Download the ZIP. Every download contains two files with matching names — a .bp and a .bpmeta. You need both: the .bp is the ship, the .bpmeta holds its name. A .bp on its own will not appear in the game.
  2. Unzip into the Blueprints folder. Paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\ApproximatelyGames\ApproximatelyUp\Blueprints into Explorer's address bar and drop both files there. Keep their filenames exactly as they are — the game pairs them by name.
  3. Restart and open the blueprint menu. The game reads the folder on startup, so restart it. Open the blueprint menu, find the ship by its name and load it. Test it next to a garage before flying a mission.
