About this library
What this site is, where the data comes from, and how it differs from the Steam Workshop.
Updated August 2026
This is an unofficial, fan-made library of ship blueprints for Approximately Up — the first-person spacecraft building sim released on 6 August 2026. It exists to answer one question the Steam Workshop cannot: which ship should I actually load?
What makes it different
Every blueprint here has been parsed file by file. We read the
.bp format directly and count what is actually inside each ship:
total parts, distinct part types, cable cells, frames, the exact mix of lift fans,
fuel thrusters, electric thrusters and maneuvering thrusters, plus equipment like
cockpit seats, tanks, solar panels, batteries and logic circuits.
That is why you can filter by things the Workshop has no idea about — for example cargo haulers with fuel engines under 1500 parts. The Workshop can sort by date and popularity. It cannot look inside the file.
Current contents
| Ships indexed | 292 |
|---|---|
| Parts parsed | 743,450 |
| Authors represented | 200 |
| Ready-made systems | 47 |
No account, ever
Downloads never require a login. There is no registration, no email collection and no tracking profile. If you save a ship with the star button, that list lives in your own browser's local storage and is never sent anywhere.
Credit and takedowns
Ship designs belong to the people who built them. Every entry links back to its Steam Workshop page and its author. If you are an author and you would rather not be listed, use the opt-out page — removal is done by hand, with no argument and no conditions.
Not affiliated
This site is not run by, endorsed by or connected to Approximately Games. It is a fan project. The game itself is sold on Steam, and buying it is the only way to support the developer.
